Melanie is a Partner at Kingsley Napley in the Dispute Resolution team specialising in contentious Information Law matters including Intellectual Property disputes, contentious Data Protection, Cyber-Response, and Reputation Management. She acts for corporates, individuals and third sector organisations and for both Claimants and Defendants.

Melanie is Vice Chair of The Law Society’s Civil Justice Committee tasked with promoting improvements to civil justice and an active member of The Law Society’s SLAPPs working group. She is also a Lay Observer for the Ministry of Justice monitoring the welfare and access to justice of people detained in court cells
