Kristi Talving is the Director General in Estonia`s Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority. The Authority ensures the availability of safe and fair services in field of communications, railway, infrastructure, media, consumer protection and business services in Estonia. It also serves businesses in licence and supervisory matters. Previously Kristi has been Deputy Secretary General in Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications coordinating the development of the business environment and in different positions in Ministry of Finance, dealing with planning and implementing EU support instruments. She has been a member of government task forces on artificial intelligence, circular economy and COVID-19 and Chairman of Board of Estonian Stockpiling Agency and member of board of Estonian Environmental Research Center, National Metrology Institute and Estonian e-Residency Programme.
