Profile
Anna Roubier is a Partner in HPP Attorneys’ EU and Competition law team. Anna advises widely on EU and Finnish competition law, regulatory law and EU law in general. She assists international and Finnish clients on merger control and anti-trust issues, including representing companies in the related administrative and judicial proceedings before national and EU authorities, as well as on state aid issues. Anna also regularly advises on the application of the Finnish Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) regime and represents international clients in the related administrative proceedings before the Finnish FDI screening authority. Anna has previously practiced EU competition law at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton LLP’s Brussels office as a senior associate as well as worked as a legal advisor at the European Chemicals Agency. Anna holds a degree in law from the United Kingdom (LL.B. (Hons)) and a Master’s Degree from the College of Europe, Bruges where she has specialised in EU competition and EU law generally. She also holds a Finnish law degree (Master of Laws) and is qualified as a Finnish attorney-at-law.
