Douglas Lahnborg, a partner in Dechert’s antitrust/competition group, brings over 20 years of experience in EU and UK competition matters. He represents multinational clients in complex, high-profile cases involving merger control, abuse of dominance, private damages actions, cartel investigations and new regulations in the digital sector. His clients span various industries, including technology, cloud services, software, telecommunications, sports, consumer goods, healthcare and defense.
Mr. Lahnborg also advises clients on the UK national security regime, contributing to working groups created by the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy and Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee. He has moderated panels on the National Security and Investment Act and represents clients in the UK semiconductor industry. His work has earned him recognition as a leading antitrust lawyer by The Legal 500 UK and as a “Global Leader” in competition law by Who’s Who Legal.
