Markus Gampp is an experienced patent litigator who advises and represents clients from various industries in complex patent infringement proceedings and other IP-related litigation.
Markus advises clients with respect to the protection and enforcement of their intellectual property rights with a focus on patent law and competition matters. In particular, Markus has extensive experience in litigating major patent disputes, including strategic advice (e.g. as part of multi-jurisdictional litigation) and the respective antitrust advice (eg on standard-essential patents). While the focus of his work is on infringement proceedings, he is also very experienced with the parallel nullity and opposition proceedings as well as compulsory enforcement.
Markus has special experience in the IT sector (consumer electronics, telecommunications, media and technology). Moreover, he advises and represents clients in the pharmaceutical, chemical, health, aviation, automotive and manufacturing industries. In addition to the enforcement of intellectual property rights, Markus also advises regards patent transfer and licensing, as well as unfair competition matters.
