NEW FIDIC 2017 SUITE (YELLOW, RED & SILVER BOOKS), 2017 EDITION
As you will already know the FIDIC 1999 Suite of Contracts (Red Book, Yellow Book and Silver Book) is currently being updated. FIDIC concentrated on updating the Yellow Book 1999 first, and has continued this work by adopting harmonised changes for the updates of the Red Book and Silver Book. Members of the FIDIC Contracts Committee will discuss the main changes to Yellow Book 1999 and explain why these changes were decided by FIDIC to be an improvement to its design-build form of contract. This is no doubt a defining moment for the global construction industry involved with FIDIC and we invite you to join us to discover more about this exciting relaunch of FIDIC’s iconic suite of contracts.

FIDIC Africa Contract Users' Conference in Numbers
Join us at the AVANI Resort in Victoria Falls
A 5-minute walk from “Mosi-oa-Tunya” (the Smoke that Thunders – Victoria Falls), the AVANI Victoria Falls Resort provides guests with affordable luxury accommodation. The hotel offers modern conference facilities, and is also positioned close to the world famous waterfalls. There is wi-fi access in all bedrooms and conference rooms. A traditional Marimba Band performs during lunch at the poolside and a Resident Band perform at the poolside every evening. Stunning wildlife around the resort includes zebras, giraffes, impalas monkeys and other wildlife.
I was impressed by the overall quality of the presentations, covering a wide range of issues found by FIDIC users either in Africa or any other continent. Holistic approach to FIDIC.
The conference has been a great success. All the speakers at the conference are experts in their fields and provided in-depth knowledge of all issues.
