Roberto Hernández-García is a lawyer specialized in international construction law.

His combined experience between (i) preparation of contractual schemes, (ii) monitoring and administration of project and (iii) prevention and resolution of disputes in projects, allows him to fully understand all phases of a project in a technical and legal way and the complexities of each case.

He has approximately 30 years of experience in international construction contracts; 15 in FIDIC international contracts and 5 in NEC contracts.

He has extensive experience in international projects under FIDIC and NEC model contracts as a Dispute Board (DAB) appointed by the contracting parties jointly, which has allowed him to have a combined perspective of the expectations of Clients and Contractors in the projects and identify strengths and weaknesses in their development.

He is a FIDIC certified Dispute Board Adjudicator and is part of the President's List.

He is the author of 3 books specialized in Construction Law and Dispute Boards, and a consultant editor/co-author of 5 collective books.

He has been a trainer for the Inter-American Development Bank on FIDIC contracts.
