A dual-qualified barrister and Chartered Accountant, Jane is ranked for energy, construction and international arbitration (Legal 500, Chambers & Partners and Who’s Who Legal: Construction). Jane acts as lead or co-counsel in international arbitrations and dispute boards, and arbitration related litigation, in disputes frequently valued in the many US$100s millions or billions. She also sits as an international arbitrator under various arbitration rules. She focuses on disputes arising in the energy, natural resources and infrastructure sectors, with the majority of her work involving projects in Latin America, Africa, the CIS, the Middle East and Asia/Pacific.
Jane has significant experience of international arbitration in the energy and natural resources sector, including arbitrations concerning nuclear, wind, solar, hydro, geothermal, coal and gas power stations; on and offshore oil and gas facilities; production sharing agreements, etc. Jane also has substantial experience of water treatment facilities, pipelines, pulp mills and mining facilities. Her infrastructure experience includes international airports, hospitals, rail projects, ports/marinas, roads and telecommunications.
