Antonio has extensive experience in competition law, both in the private and public sector, including at DG Competition, where he worked as a case handler in merger control (basic industries, manufacturing, agriculture) and antitrust (IT, internet, consumer electronics). He is a graduate from Universidade Católica de Lisboa and holds an LLM degree in EU Law from the College of Europe (Bruges).
