Christopher Vajda was the UK's judge on the European Court of Justice in Luxemburg between 2012 and 2020. Prior to his appointment, he practised EU and competition law. He is now back in private practice. He is a member of the Panel of Recognised International Market Experts in Finance (P.R.I.M.E), the Sports Resolutions panel, and of the panel of persons suitable for appointment as Chairpersons for Arbitrations to which the EU is a party. He was appointed a QC in 1997. He is a graduate of Cambridge University and the Université libre de Bruxelles.
